Photostability chambers of Thermobalscientific, are made as per the ICH guidelines Q1 B guidelines option 2. These temperature control chambers are used to closely monitor temperature, humidity (optional) and light intensity on the drugs and drug substances.
This humidity control chamber come with the following light exposure options in it.
- Exposure of cool white florescent light for 1.2mil lux hours and UV-A Light for 200 watt hours per square meter on the test samples.
- Combined light exposure or individual light exposure with automatic light cut off system after exposure is achieved.
- The light exposure data is captured in the system with respect to date and time along with temperature and humidity (optional).
- The light exposure data can be printed directly on the printer (printer interface facility) or can be hooked on to the software. (PC Interface facility)
- Light tubes are mounted horizontally on the tray which gives direct light on to the test samples.
- UV Light supply is cut off when the door is open as a safety measure.
The usefulness of this humidity control chambe primarily rests on its thoughtful construction. The following are the construction features of Photostability chambers.
- Constructed and fabricated on fully automatic CNC machines thereby giving consistency in performance and an aesthetic look.
- Elegant ABS moulded control panel.
- PUF insulation on fully automatic machine leaving no gaps and with sleek body design.
- Direct % RH electronic capacitor type humidity sensor (in case humidity parameter is selected).
- Chambers are provided with effective air circulation system, refrigeration system, humidity system, full view observation glass door and stainless steel trays.
